“Touching light, touches time, space and the transience of life itself…. Always on the move, light is the energy that fuels change from the smallest elemental particles to the distant sparkle of stars.
I work with light because it moves me on the most basic levels, physically, mentally and spiritually simultaneously. It inspires and connects us all. My work evolved from a deep attraction to light and color and a dream to create its presence in space in essential forms.
In Flux brings together works exploring the inter-relationship between ourselves and the natural elements of which we and our world are composed. We are always changing as is the rest of nature. Only light, is timeless, existing in the perpetual now. Like infinity, the perpetual now evades our understanding of time and space. However, that is exactly what light is. The instrument of change, both particle and wave, it defies, inspires, and illuminates our world, empowering the transformative processes of life.”
